O: Feces too dry to collect fecal. No notable swelling in L elbow. Removed 2 g of very dried up scraps from nest cup. Gave 3.2 cc LRS SQ in R dorsal shoulder. Lowered incubator from 90 deg F to 88 deg F.

S: Sitting in towel nest. Stood up when noticed opened incubator door.

O: HF 16 grams of chopped rat while wearing camo. Bird eagerly eating and food calling. Quickly got tired and had to drop the remaining 4 grams.

Initial treatment: ADAMS, incubator at 80 degrees

A: Nestling kestrel, nest destroyed by wing. Unknown if parents caring for but bird did cast during transport. Had a bunch of bugs on him, radiographs revealed swelling to left elbow but hard to palpate.

P: Monitor use of left wing, repeat rads in 3 days. SF if willing, otherwise switch to HF with CAMO. Monitor temp by touch and lower incubator by 2 degrees a day. Vet check Thursday. Collect fecal tomorrow. Don't need to collect blood unless issues arise
